“THE WELLNSBURG SWORDS.”

An Adventure Saga

This series is getting new covers and a lightly revised title. The original covers of five volumes were licensed, and some of those images can no longer be renewed. The new designs below, copyrighted by the author, are replacing them. Nothing in the stories changed.

The new editions are gradually replacing the old ones, which are being withdrawn from sale.

Elevator Pitch

When a newborn heir is stolen and raised under a false identity, two siblings grow up side by side without knowing the truth about their shared past. As hidden secrets surface, destiny, mysterious magic, and dangerous journeys across lands and seas lead them to discover who they truly are.

About the Series

The Wellnsburg Chronicles is a sweeping historical fantasy adventure saga set in the vibrant and turbulent world of the seventeenth century—a time of grand manors, duels of honor, distant voyages, and hidden mysteries.

The story begins with Katarine Wellnsburg, the spirited daughter of a powerful noble family who refuses to accept the life her father has chosen for her. Determined to follow her heart, she escapes the family estate with the help of her unconventional Aunt Hedvika and secretly marries her childhood sweetheart, Martrek. But their happiness is shattered when tragedy strikes shortly after the birth of their twins.

Their newborn son Christopher is stolen and replaced with a deceased infant. Raised under a false identity and renamed Febien, the boy grows up unaware of his true family and the destiny that awaits him.

Fate brings the twins unknowingly back to the same estate. Elizabeth believes she comes from a modest background, while Christopher—now living as Febien—is raised as one of the estate’s noble sons. Neither realizes the truth about their shared past.

A mysterious woman enters Elizabeth’s life as her nanny and godmother. Possessing unusual wisdom and subtle magical abilities, she quietly watches over the children and guides them through dangers that others cannot see.

Despite the secrets surrounding them, an inexplicable bond forms between Elizabeth and Febien. They are drawn toward one another by forces neither of them understands.

Unbeknownst to them, Elizabeth and Febien are part of a destiny far greater than their own lives—a fate whispered about in old stories and guarded by mysterious forces that have watched over their family for generations.

When Febien discovers a hidden letter revealing the truth about his stolen identity, he flees in the middle of the night, unable to confront the past. His disappearance sets powerful events into motion.

Federik, Febien’s older brother, sets out on a perilous journey to find him. At the same time, Elizabeth and her loyal friend Patricia begin their own search for answers about the secrets that have shaped their lives.

Their journeys take them across distant lands and perilous seas, where they encounter pirates, hidden enemies, and remarkable allies—including Princess Fahiram, a fearless warrior whose mastery of the samurai sword inspires the young travelers to face dangers far beyond anything they imagined.

Blending historical adventure with elements of fantasy, mystery, and humor, The Wellnsburg Chronicles follows Elizabeth, Febien, and their companions as they uncover long-buried truths, confront powerful enemies, and discover that courage, loyalty, and friendship may be the only forces strong enough to guide them toward their true destinies.

The manuscript stands on its own while launching a completed five-book series that follows the characters as they grow older with each installment, continuing their adventures across a richly imagined historical world.

“Perfect for teens, young adults, and anyone ready to dive into a world of adventure, mystery, fun, and secrets waiting to be discovered.”🗝️📖

****************************************

I was born in Žilina, Slovak Republic, and grew up in the well-known spa town of Rajecké Teplice in the Žilina district.

As I grew up, I developed a love of poetry and prose and won many competitions along the way. I am fluent in English, Czech, and Slovak, and I understand Polish.

After marrying a military jet pilot, I moved to the Czech Republic and became a Czech citizen. Before the Velvet Revolution, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic were part of a single state, “Czechoslovakia.”

As a lifelong lover of historical novels and their settings, I was inspired to write a five-part literary series.

Being married to a military man meant moving often from one airbase to another.

My travels to many countries broadened my perspective, letting me experience different cultures and meet new people.

I have two adult children—a daughter and a son. For decades, a story developed in my mind, and when the time was right, I finally wrote it down.

The first school I successfully graduated from was a fashion school, and I later ran my own business as a fashion designer. Because I moved many times when my husband was relocated to different airbases, I studied Economics and Management, which helped prepare me for my work as an economist. I worked for the military for 10 years.

After we moved to the United States, I studied at NOVA College and also earned a CMT certificate as a Medical Technician.

In addition to my historical series, I authored two standalone books available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble; my series is also available in various European countries.

I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a diplomat for the US and Canada. Presently, I reside in the US.

To all writers: “Never give up!”
